We accept Visa and Mastercard for U.P.S. orders. Payment is due at the time the order is placed.
Your gift message greeting will appear on the shipping label of the package. If no greeting is provided, the message will read, “Greetings from…(the sender).”
Chicagoland Ham, Co. ships the beginning of each week for order delivery by the weekend. Ordering by 12:00 p.m. the Saturday previous insures that the order is shipped the following week. We ship your order as close as possible to the requested ship date. We cannot guarantee delivery on a specific day or time. Please include the most accurate address possible, including apartment or suite numbers. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO addresses or Puerto Rico. We solely ship within the continental U.S. It is very important that your recipient is home to receive their package. It is at the discretion of U.P.S. to leave the package if no one is home to receive it. U.P.S. may leave the package at the door; we do not require a signature of receipt. We cannot be responsible for packages delivered to an address that is not occupied.
Ground / 2 Day Air U.P.S.
We ship within Illinois and to our neighboring states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana using U.P.S. ground service. To ensure that each order is delivered in a timely fashion, in good condition, we ship to all other states not listed above, throughout the continental United States, using United Parcel Service’s 2 day air service.
When your order is shipped, U.P.S. will assign a U.P.S. tracking number. Provide us with your email address and the email address of the gift recipient and U.P.S. will notify you or both of you of the tracking number for the package. Track packages using this tracking number atwww.ups.com .
Receipt of Shipment
Chicagoland Hams are perishable and are shipped frozen to ensure freshness and quality. Instructions for care your Chicagoland Ham will be included. You may refrigerate or refreeze your Chicagoland Ham when it arrives. Please allow 24-48 hours to thaw and schedule your ship dates accordingly.
Cancellation / Changes
Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the requested ship date. Please call the number you did to place the original order to cancel or change the order. Please provide us with your name, daytime phone number, and your gift recipient’s information. We will do our best to cancel the order and/or make the changes. It is important that you give us time to make these corrections.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO addresses or Puerto Rico. We solely ship within the continental U.S. Please be sure all addresses are correct and include daytime phone numbers and email addresses for recipients. If an incorrect address is provided, we are not responsible for these items shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address. It is the sender’s responsibility to cover the costs for reshipment of an item in the event that Chicagoland Ham Co. was provided with an incorrect or incomplete address or delivery date.
