Curried Pineapple Ham

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can (15 1/2 ounces) pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons chutney, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Chicagoland Ham chunks
  • Orange Rice

Instructions

  1. In skillet, saute onion in the butter 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in flour, then gradually add broth and pineapple syrup, stirring.
  3. Stir in chutney, curry powder, salt and pepper and simmer 10 minutes.
  4. Add pineapple and Chicagoland Ham chunks.
  5. Heat thoroughly and serve on Orange Rice.
