French Toasted Ham Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 8 slices firm-type bread
  • Softened butter or margarine
  • Prepared mustard
  • 4 slices Chicagoland Ham
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Cranberry sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spread 4 slices bread with butter and a little mustard.
  2. Top with Chicagoland Ham slices and remaining bread.
  3. Dip both sides into mixture of eggs, milk, and salt and sauté slowly in butter until well browned on both sides.
  4. Serve with cranberry sauce, if desired.
