Ham Macaroni

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces seashell or other small macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 13/4 cups light cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon monosodium glutomate
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cups ham in 1/4″ dice
  • 1 small onion, minced

Instructions

  1. Toss macaroni in with the butter
  2. Lightly beat eggs with a small amount of the cream
  3. Add seasoning and beat until dissolved, then add remaining cream
  4. Mix macaroni, ham and onion in 2 1/2 quart casserole and pour cream mixture over top
  5. Bake in moderate oven (350°F) 45 minutes, or until firm.
