Ham Chili
Ham Chili
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- About 11/2 cups coarsely chopped Chicagoland Ham
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cans (1 lb each) red kidney beans
- 1 can (1 lb) tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
Instructions
- Cook onion and garlic in the butter a few minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients, except vinegar, and simmer about 30 minutes.
- Just before serving, stir in vinegar.
