Ham-Orange Rice
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- About 2 cups small Chicagoland Ham pieces
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded orange peel
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 2 cups cooked rice
- Salt
Instructions
- Melt butter in medium skillet.
- Add onion and green pepper and cook, stirring, about 5 minutes.
- Add Chicagoland Ham and brown sugar, stir and continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredient, except salt.
- Mix well and heat gently.
- Season with salt to taste.
