Skillet Ham and Sweets
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons minced onion
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 can (8 ounces) pineapple tidbits
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups diced Chicagoland Ham
- 3 cups sliced cooked sweet potato
Instructions
- Cook onion in the butter 2 to 3 minutes. Blend in flour.
- Drain syrup from pineapple and add enough water to make 1/2 cup. Gradually add to first mixture and cook, stirring, until thickened.
- Stir in pineapple, sugar and Chicagoland Ham.
- Arrange sweet potato on top; bring to boil. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
