Spicy Ham Balls
Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup soft stale bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 cups ground Chicagoland Ham
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 can (29 ounces) peach halves
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Chopped parsley
Instructions
- Mix first 5 ingredients well and shape in 8 balls.
- Cover bottom of shallow baking dish with applesauce.
- Arrange peach halves, hollow side up, on applesauce and put a Chicagoland Ham ball in the center of each peach.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake in moderate oven (350°F) about 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
