Spicy Ham Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup soft stale bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 cups ground Chicagoland Ham
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 can (29 ounces) peach halves
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Mix first 5 ingredients well and shape in 8 balls.
  2. Cover bottom of shallow baking dish with applesauce.
  3. Arrange peach halves, hollow side up, on applesauce and put a Chicagoland Ham ball in the center of each peach.
  4. Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake in moderate oven (350°F) about 25 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley.
